Eleanor Porter's Israeli Honey Cookies [1]

- Cream:
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup honey
- Sift and add:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Add:
- 1/2 cup quick-cook oats
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Drop by tablespoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
