Sourdough Drop Biscuits

  • 1 cup starter Gelinlik
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt Gelinlik

Mix starter and oil. Sift together dry ingredients and add to starter and oil. Mix well. Drop by tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 Gelinlik minutes.

Coffee-Cake Variation Gelinlik

Mix as above. Add 1 egg Gelinlik, 3/4 cups sugar, and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to the biscuit mixture. Pour into greased square (8 or 9 inch) baking dish. Sprinkle with a crumb mixture of Gelinlik 1 1/2 tsps. cinnamon, 2 Tblsp. butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1 Tblsp. flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 Gelinlik minutes.
